Welcome to the Czech I SHOP FAIR network of ethical consumers
Do you want to know the real story of stuff we use every day? Clothes, food, laptops. Who are the people who produce it, where do they live and under which conditions they work? Do you want to know more?
Than become an activist for I SHOP FAIR!
The I SHOP FAIR network is a joint project of four NGOs from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Malta trying to get active consumers together who want to buy ethically produced goods and support workers in developing countries in their struggle for better working conditions. Anyone who is interested in ethical consumption issues can join and act!
What do we do?
We organize speaker’s tours during which people from all around the world, who are parts of the production chain in several roles, are talking to the Europeans and answer their questions about all the process, problems of workers, hopes for change and much more.
Also, we provide information to anybody who is interested through our newsletters, leaflets, documentary screenings at festivals and club sessions, during exhibitions, seminars and workshops.
We want to mobilize consumers to buy ethically and fairly produced goods and act for more just and sustainable world where human rights as well as environment are protected. We provide support to anyone who wants to get active. Do not hesitate to contact us if you want to know more.
